Delicate silk fibers are strung across the span of 16 feet between two solid black clay squares. The fibers disappear into the whiteness of the wall, except where they reflect light. To see the entire length of the fibers, the viewers must walk along the span from one black square to another. Only the portion of the fibers that are currently catching light are visible: everything else fades away.
